How far is Sand House & Cottage from Inverness?
The journey takes approximately one and a half hours by car.
How far is Inverness airport?
Inverness Airport is 10 minutes form Inverness centre.
Can we bring our dog?
Yes, as long as they are well behaved, kept off the furniture and dog poos are scooped daily.
Where can we fish?
There is sea fishing from Gairloch or Ullapool and loch fishing nearer, permits and information can obtained from Bill Richardson at Laide Stores (Tel: 01445 731252).
Can we go Deer Stalking?
Yes, The two main Estates locally are Gruinard Estate and Little Gruinard Estate - however you must make arrangements direct with the estates.

Where can we golf?
Excellent courses at Gairloch, 25 minutes and Ullapool, 45 minutes. Visitors are more than welcome at both Clubs.
Are cots and high chairs available?
Yes, but please pre-book in advance.
Is the storage for wet suits, kayaks and bicycles?
Yes there is a large area available for storage in the garage.
